We (my husband and I) launched our site late 2009. On January 1, 2010 we began our campaign at Advanced Massage Techniques to donate 50% of profits from purchase of massage CEUs to charity. As you most likely know, we chose the Massage Therapy Foundation and Smile Train. Today is the last day of the year and it is time assess how this campaign and our business, make our year end donations on behalf of our customers, and set new goals for 2011.
We learned a lot over the last year of business. Our donations to the charities were not as much as we hoped it would be, but it is enough to improve and positively impact in the lives of many people in need! I love it! While I would always like to see my businesses do better, I need to sit back and look at our improvement over the past year. At Advanced Massage Techniques, we went from being ranked in the 150’s to #11 (and climbing!)massage continuing education and Massage CEUs. This has let to more inquiries, interest, and purchases. This has been very encouraging and we expect the improvements and growth it to continue. W
As I look to 2011, I have big plans, expectations, and goals and for 2011. I also many changes and challenges in store for myself and my businesses. I will bring home another daughter soon! I will spend my last year working in my dad’s office before his retirement. I am looking forward to launching our Ashiatsu course, adding a pediatric massage ebook, and introducing one more website for the massage therapy community. We will continue to donate 50% of profits to charity from our online massage CEU site, Advanced Massage Techniques. We have enjoyed the feed back we have received from it and know it has made a positive impact it makes in the lives of others. I wish you all health and happiness in 2011, and I look forward to telling you in twelve months about our progress.
Happy New Year!
