I am a licensed massage therapist and NCBTMB approved continuing education provider. I have spent the past decade studying and practicing as a massage and health professional. I have taken advanced training in ashiatsu, clinical and outcome based massage, Aromatherapy, and prenatal/labor/and infant massage.
My interest and curiosity in complementary and alternative medicine began at a very young age. My father has been a chiropractor for forty years and my mother worked for ten years for a large essential oil bottler. These lifelong experiences gave me a variety of unique experiences and perspectives on the massage and bodywork field.
A couple years ago, I began teaching massage continuing education through my website, Advanced Massage Techniques. I was inspired to design unique continuing education courses specifically for massage professionals, and my goal is to encourage and assist other professionals to build and maintain their ideal practices.
Advertising, Reviews, and Disclosure
A big part of having a blog on massage therapy is talking about the various products massage therapists use. Product reviews are something I truly enjoy doing, and I feel it is important that you understand my motive behind each product review I publish.
Within each product review, I will disclose how I acquired that product. Some of my reviews are products that I have purchased, while others are product samples I have received. Of the sample products I have reviewed, some were sent to me, while others I have requested. I do not receive compensation, outside of a product sample, for any review I write.
Additionally on this website, I have a few links to other websites. Some of these links include advertising revenue or affiliate commission. This revenue helps pay for the privilege of getting to do what I love, talking about massage therapy!
